Just to answer some common questions I keep seeing:
- Each card needs to be purchased as a separate Target transaction in order to get the Target card bonus for each Apple card.
- You can use the same Target account, no need to make separate accounts (unless you are trying to circumvent the new limit that seems to have been added today).
- You will get an order confirmation email immediately.
- Apple cards will arrive via email several hours to a day later. The email has a link to Target's fulfillment site which will then take you to the actual gift card code. From there you can either manually copy/paste the code or simply click the link and it should open up the proper program on your computer or phone in order to load the card to your Apple account.
- You will receive another email at some point that informs you that the email with the Apple gift card was sent. This email doesn't have any value.
- Target bonus cards will arrive a day or so later via email. I've found that they generally arrive a few hours after you receive the email I mentioned in the previous point above. Sometimes the cards will already be loaded into your Target wallet in the Target app, but the majority of mine have not been preloaded. The email will contain a link that will load them into your Target account. The Target app also has a button that will allow you to combine all the cards into a single balance for easier use.
- The Apple gift cards will trigger the bonus offers on the Apple site (for instance, buy an Apple TV with the Apple gift cards you bought from Target and Apple will send you a $50 Apple gift card).
- You can use the Target gift cards to buy other items at Target that have a gift card bonus offer, but you can't use them to actually buy more gift cards. For instance, you can buy two packs of laundry detergent which has a $5 Target gift card bonus offer and you'll get the $5 bonus gift card, but you can't use the Target gift cards to buy more Apple gift cards.
- You can load up to $2000 in total balance to your Apple account. Additionally you are only allowed to load $2000 total per day. So even if you buy something using your Apple balance you'll still need to wait a day before you can load more gift cards into your balance.
- You can apply up to 8 gift card codes during checkout at Apple.

Apparently, Best Buy will offer the same deal (BB GC) during BF.
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/blac...8908893088

Edit: some idiots have been replying to me on how they like this deal better than BB's since GC is more useful to them. I couldn't care less about your situation. I'm just letting people know about BB's deal.

Assuming you're treating the $20 like cash, you're getting 16.67% off, not 20%.

20% would be if they were only charging you $80 for a $100 gift card. You're paying $100 for $120.

Edit: Unless you're including the Red Card 5% off, in which case it's more like 21%

How quickly did your initial 4 get cancelled (from the 10 you ordered) ?
A couple hours. Still have yet to get any GC's though from the 6 that went through. I'm going to give it until tomorrow and hope the limit resets.

Did you use 13 different target accounts with different Circle gift cards? Or 13 different target account with one single circle account? How does it work, can you elaborate a little here. Thanks
I used one Target account. Placed an order, waited to receive the Apple gift card and Target gift card. Then repeated.

When will the Best Buy offer start. It is still offering free News+ and not the BB credit.

I didn't order any this time, but here are my experiences the last time they ran the promo. Maybe this will help someone.

Thinking back, I actually ordered 14 for myself and 13 for my brother for a total of 27 (to be used on iPhones).

1. I used one Target account and did 27 separate orders online. It took two days to do all of them.
2. I waited to receive the Apple GC and Target GC before doing the next order.
3. I used my Red Card until orders started getting cancelled. Then I switched to my VISA (that gave me 5% cash back). When those were getting cancelled, I took a break for a couple of hours before trying again.
4. I was able to switch back to my Red Card and orders went through.
5. IIRC, sometimes it took 30 minutes to get both gift cards, sometimes it took a couple of hours. Apple GC also came first. The Target GC didn't immediately come after the Apple one. I think that also varied between 30 minutes to a couple hours.
6. The cancellation emails didn't take very long to come.
7. Some of the Target GC were automatically added to my Target account. Some were not. I had to click a link in the email to add them to my account.
8. Apple allows you to apply a maximum of $2000 to your iCloud balance. If paying with your iCloud balance, you can split it with a max of 1 credit card.
9. I had no issues applying the Apple GC to my iCloud account.

I saw a few people asking, and I was wondering myself... so here's another data point.

I went with five of the cards. First one ordered at 9:37am PT, delivered 10:57pm PT on Sunday 11/22. Still shows "Preparing" on Target dot com.

Still waiting for the rest.

How do you add to icloud account. Does the balance need to be applied to icloud account or itunes account or apple account. Hearing all sorts of places. Are they all same?

Use the Apple store app. Go to Apple account balance, redeem gc. It should be all the same if you use one account for your Mac ecosystem.

Just adding a data point. Did 8 orders around 12:30am 11/22. 6 got through and got the target and apple cards. 2 failed and were cancelled. Half used Barclays card (5x miles deal) and other half used discover it.

Order 4 apple gift cards (separate transactions) at around 12pm Sun and just now received 2/4 gc at 2:00am Mon. They are slowly coming thru.

Dumb question but what are you buying with the $20 GC's? Can you buy another $100 Apple Card with 5 GCs and get a 6th GC?

I don't think Target lets you use Target gift cards to pay for other gift cards. I shop at target a lot so it's won't be hard to find something to spend them on

I ordered this 12 hours ago. I still haven't gotten my email. Is anyone else having issues?
