Just placed order for 20 gift cards. 8 have already been cancelled. Sigh. Will reorder once I receive some. iPhone 12 Pro Max wait for me!

15 successful transactions with 15 $20 Gift Cards totaling $300 for $1,500 worth of Apple credit. I purchased Sunday night and received GG's by Tuesday afternoon. The deal works, just need to give it some time (~48hrs in my case) to process.

Pro tips:
1. combine all the Target GC balances into one for easier management
2. if you have a Chase Freedom card connected to PayPal then use that to get 5% back instead of 4% through Red Card

Pro tip: Target online is F'd. I cancelled all my online orders, drove to target, then bought 11 gift cards in separate transactions (1 cashier did them all sequentially). I redeemed each apple and target gift card in the store.

All 11 apple and all 11 target cards are in my accounts (actually already used the apple GC on an M1 Air).

Is the $20 target card tied to the account that placed the order? I believe it's limit one per account. I can create multiple accounts and pay but just making sure this will work out the way I want

Limit one per transaction. I can confirm all 15 GC's were sent to one account.

Looks like Apple gift cards are fraudulently redeemed as soon as they are activated. With a credit card you can dispute the charges, when a target debit card you going have to pull teeth to get your money back.
ah i see thanks!

How do you combine the balance to whole balance online? Or do you have to go target store?

No tax on gift cards, as they'll collect taxes when you use the GC to purchase an item later on.

No taxes, for purchasing the gift card themselves.
Yes taxes when you purchase whatever product purchase you redeem the gift cards on.

Thanks for the update. What options or choices did you select when making your appointment to buy the Applecare plan?
I think it was called a shopping session (I chose "iPad" for the product I'm interested in).
