Is the reason people do in store pickup because shipping takes so long or is it cool to just do shipping?
They only email... and it can take several days... if you need it sooner then that then you can go to the store and purchase them their. ...and imo, I would never have gift cards shipped via mail, that would be the same as sending cash in the mail, if I gets lost or stolen you are S.O.L.

Can someone please take a minute from their thanksgiving celebration and verify this for me Smilie TIA

I want to get the MacBook Air M1 $900 (or $980 after tax) at Apple Education store. I can purchase 10 X $100 Apple gift cards online in 10 separate transactions?

Final cost = $950 - $200 in target gift cards - $20 Apple credit leftover = $730.

Sounds right, except Apple website will only allow up to 8 gift cards for payment at checkout. You will need to load the other 2 GC into your Apple account.

Tax at education store?
What do you need to verify student status?

Man, scared to do this deal instore with all the already-redeemed stories. How do you get promo target gc at self checkout?
Hi- The gift card itself is sealed inside of an envelope with a polka-dot strip that is impossible to remove without damaging it, so you could just closely examine each envelope (compare to others on the rack) before taking them to the register.

I purchased 10, and before adding them to my account, I tried to pull the strip off without damaging it first and it was not possible. To be successful the crooks would have to place a new strip on the envelope after destroying the original one.

At my Target, I was unable to find the $100 denomination at any of the high visibility racks. I finally found several at a large rack up near the front of the store - near the registers. I wasn't sure if the smaller denominations adding up to $100 would qualify.

I took 10 cards with 10 Target cards to self check-out and purchased each one separately. You just scan the Apple card first, hit pay, and then the register congratulates you and tells you that you qualify for a $20 bonus. Then you take one of the Target gift cards and scan that and complete the purchase by selecting your payment method. It was very easy. Although, I felt that I was being watched which made me feel like a criminal... Good luck!

Thanks. Yeah. They always have people at self-checkout so I am sure they will be watching.
