It's not really a sale. They just give you gift cards based on what you purchase.

Yes you can. Just load up the gift card to your Apple account. It will be deducted accordingly every month. Same deal for hardware purchases from Apple store.
This gets very confusing, should we add the gift card on iTunes or just login to App Store and then add, is it all the same?

I would not use these for the current sales on Apple. Apple is getting rid of old stock. Wait for the new apple chips and upgrades unless you really need one. If you're debating always go for the newer stuff. Like don't buy that older apple air retina, get the new M1 chip one.

The good stuff is all not on sale right now, so best be aware Smilie.

A good use for this is Applecare. Discounts are seldom unless you are probably edu/etc. I just bought Applecare for the new iphone 12s so to get extra gift cards is great on something I was planning to pay out of pocket already.

If you decide to buy Applecare for the full one time payment. DO NOT. I repeat... DO NOT load this onto your account. You must keep the card physical on go to a local apple store and them do it if you want to get the up front Applecare. The monthly ones I believe take from your account automatically so you can load it to your account. But the one time charge ones you must go to Apple store.

I finally got all 7 of my orders that I placed on Sunday and Monday, as well as my remaining $252.94 gift card that I used my Chase Freedom points to cover every last penny including tax of buying a new MacBook Air M1. I thought I'd be all ready to order tonight but now I keep getting time out errors when trying to open the gift cards! I've been trying off and on for the past hour and managed to get two of them but still have five more to go...

If you're looking for Macbooks, it's probably better to use the education discount. I rather have a 100 dollars immediate cash (probably more after taxes) than a 150 apple gc.

just to make sure to do it app store and load one card. After each card check your apple.com account to see if the balance is updated or not

On iCloud.com on my account it says $0 but on Apple.com it shows $100, so it's confusing

I could be wrong but that's not where from $$ are taken when you place hardware order. I loaded from app store and balance showed up on Apple.com balance. When I placed order $$$ was taken from apple.com balance.

Several people reported waiting up to three days to receive their codes from the online purchases. I'm not very optimistic that the codes I purchase about two hours ago will actually show up before the end of Apple's sale...
I do not know others, but based on my experience, you will be fine. I ordered last night around 9 PM, saw all 3 apples in my inbox after dinner tonight.
