For those getting cancellations after 7 or so orders, once you receive all your Apple gift card emails you should be able to resume ordering. I was just able to order another 7.
Good note!! Same with me.

Got stopped by a target csr for a 5 limit per customer at self checkout . Went back with a hat and different jackets free lunch for more saw a different csr Hit 10 before I got stopped. Will go before closing and try the 20, because those night time kids don't care.

You totally cracked me up there.
Made me smile as well...I feel like I read about something like this in a John le Carré thriller.

Seems they are restricting at 7 . My 8th one got canceled and I did chat with them as they charge my Red card. They confirmed , it's to avoid bulk purchase

10 separate transactions, 3 got canceled.
Then get 2 $50 cards and still get $20. Rinse and repeat!

What we know so far:

Limit of 7 on $100 denomination cards in individual transactions to get a total of $140 in Target spending cash/card.

No limit OR limit of 7 on $15, $25 or $50 denomination cards.

So, you can order 4 $25 cards, OR 2 $50 cards, or 7 $15 cards and still get $20 on Target spending cash. Woohoo! How is this possible? Each denomination gift card has a different stock picking unit (or SKU) so when placing a limit, Target apparently placed the limit only on the $100 denomination!

Thanks to the person who discovered this loophole (likely a programmer who understands logic in building code).

This doesn't work in physical store, at least not yet. You need to buy online and do store pickup if GCs are already loaded onto account.
Ugh - ok so my plan was to do a trade in and take advantage of the extra $150 trade in from T-mobile.

I guess I'll have to do this over mail for this to work - when i go to checkout for some reason im presented saying that phone is not there for pickup.

i also don't know if i do that how the trade in will work if i do store pick up

thank you, but i am aware of the issue. I been doing this all week, just check the seals of the cards and any envelope defect. honesty, check the whole rack. If one has been tampered, they all been tampered. The vendor should have cycled through these earlier this week.

I'm trying to give another example of them limiting in store transactions, much different than the beginning of the week when there was no limit. Also, my experience has been different from the opening and closing shifts, which is expected in most retail stores especially Target. I think most of us have always been aware of that.
How can one possible tamper with these cards. The value on the cards gets loaded after it is activated in the store. Are you suggesting that it is activated twice?

Are people getting their Target GCs yet?
I've received 5 of 10 so far. The first one came yesterday evening about 6 hours after I placed the orders online in quick succession. The next four came overnight at around 2:00 a.m. They were just added to my Target account and I received email notifications. The remaining 5 orders still show as pending (I received all my apple gift cards via email yesterday and used them). I guess they'll be processed tonight by the day shift somewhere on the other side of the world.

Thumbs up!!! When I posted, I was noting that I was able to order another 7 (without cancellation) after I received the Apple GC from the first 7. But, now I am up to 9 orders without cancellation. BUT, awesome to know about this clever approach should it be needed!!!

Or those of you who got canceled, go to store to pick a few, pull all stack out, pick randomly (in case someone is watching), purchase one at counter, scan it into your Apple account right away, buy the next card, and so on.

for those still waiting, you risk getting more cards than you want. Remember immediate redemption at counter is key. You can't return this or online one.

today is the last day. All the best!
