You are on the wrong website. You need to move along and visit SlickCraigsBayer.com. Congrats, you just bragged about the little beer money you just earned and robbed opportunities for 8 people who could have actually use these TVs

This is probably better than the Hisense, but not by much. Rtings has reviews on previous models on both. The Samsung is definitely not worth $250 more. I'd say the only upgrade from these that would be worth it would be a TCL 6 series or the comparable midrange Hisense.

I have a TCL 6 series, Hisense from BB, and Onn from Walmart. The 6 series is noticeably better than the other two but not by a massive margin. The Hisense and Onn are almost identical in terms of image quality.

It's insane to me that they can sell quality 4k 65" TVs for this price. Like seriously, the Hisense and Onn look unbelievable for the price.

It's probably been asked but can anyone comment on this vs Hisense 65" from Best Buy?
On that note, is the Samsung TU7000 worth the extra $250?
I bought TCL 65 two weeks ago and I would like to buy another one. I have Bluetooth headset that easily connects with it. The picture quality is great. When you switch YouTube to Netflix or any other app the remote response is very quick.

Does anyone know whether the 2020 s-series have better panel/picture-quality than what was sold (under s-series) in 2017? Just trying to find out if the current 2020 s-models are as good as older c or p models.

The TCL is the 4 series and it's pretty terrible, picture quality wise. I'd look at it with your own eyes first before consider buying it. Of course I have two Samsung Q70's and hard to compare them equally with my units.
For $230 I won't complain much. There was a time we were over the heels for 1080P TV that's worth $2000

These don't have local dimming right? I guess that's a step up in model numbers?

You must be new here. You realize these manufacturers needs to do something new every black friday with these low budget 4ks to entice people after the previous year? First it started with 4k, then 4k 55s, then 4k hdr, then 4k hd 58s, now it's 4k hdr 65s. Unfortunately they continue to fail to add interesting stuff in their budget models like brightness increase, local dimming, and hdmi 2.1.
Not new here, just never paid attention to TV sales and basically skimmed over them as I never had a need to purchase one in the past 12 years other then the occasional 32" BF special which i purchased for <$100 for kids rooms, etc.

good for u. I opened the sale at 7:00 and checkout in 30 seconds. The system kept saying OOS. everytime there was stock, the system would say OOS. So, I think luck had something to do with this. I tried 2 different computers, app etc. Also every hour or two until the next day.
This is what I did: it reopened at 730. I already had it in cart from the previous try. So I kept trying to purchase that one in the cart at 730 and somehow it worked.

Will this be like the Walmart TV deal that 0.00001% of people got?

Do we have to pick up or have it delivered ?
It was in stock probably for about 30 minutes so probably they had plenty.

I really like the roku interface on the hisense better than the android os on the TCL but being able to cast to the TCL puts it slightly ahead for me

To all those complaining about the Android OS...

Go into developer settings (click on "about" in settings 7 times until it says "you are now a developer") and change the three animation scaling settings from 1 to .5 or off. Then change the number of background processes to "at most 4" from the standard default.

Boom. Snappy OS.

Edit - as Slackaholic pointed out you click on "build" 7 times in the about section.
