I wasn't able to do either. 1) Tried to order a second gift card with my primary account and was denied. 2) Then tried to order a second gift card with a second account and had it cancelled by Best Buy. They sent an email saying "Unfortunately, we had to cancel your order because it has exceeded our orderable quantity limits. Please see our Conditions of Use, which explains order limitations and limited quantities."
- The APPLE gift card ($100) can be used to buy apps, iTunes stuff (music and movies), AND is good at the APPLE store (even for physical goods), but again, that's at the APPLE STORE. Keep in mind everything they sell there, except for some holiday and back to school bonuses, are all RETAIL, REGULAR price.
- The BestBuy gift card (the $20) can be used to buy most anything (except other gift cards, I think?) that BestBuy sells, including Apple stuff. But you'd better have a good use for that $100 above first!
Apple Gift Cards are more or less useless, because you're always paying MSRP buying direct from Apple, while their stuff is HEAVILY discounted elsewhere.

I plan on buying M1 devices with student discount so I can't get any cheaper than that. I get your point though, especially for iPads.

Stocking up for next year's edu deal Usually Apple store is the last place for deals, but had to buy my 2020 iPad Pro at Apple store for edu deal w/ AirPods because no retailers had a better deal this yr. Damn COVID.

Should also be noted that once you load these gift cards to your account you can't buy physical items in store. You have to use the Apple Store app or website to do in store pick up.
Gotcha. Last time they had this promotion in September ($10 GC then) I was able to get 1700$ worth of gift cards before my Best Buy account stopped allowing me. I then switched to another account if I recall correctly.

I bought the $100 card one transaction at a time.
