I bought this for my boys. They've been riding since 4 yrs old. 13 is some kind of liability inspired recommended age

This is so small. Recommended age is 13+, but that's a joke. Their knees would be up around their head

Got this MX350 for my son when he turned 5. It's a rough ride with no suspension. He got two years out of it and I just upgraded him to the Mototec 36v 1000w Pro this summer. No comparison - it's a true electric pit-bike. Full suspension with travel, adjustable speed / throttle. Good for ages 7+, and even fun for me to ride around a bit.

Can anyone provide a ranking a reptuable electric motor bikes in terms of quality and maintenace obligations? I have no experience with electric motor bikes and would really appreciate what is considered the "gold standard" of electric motor bikes.

Depends on the age of the rider and the quality of the electric bike you are trying to buy. We have owned dozens of electrics in the past 15 years. I have 3 boys that race motocross so we come across a ton of electrics. I think we have had 3 or 4 of the mx350's. When my youngest was first starting to ride I picked up a couple of these when Walmart was closing them out and ended up giving them to the neighbor kids after finding my son quickly outgrew them. I would say the average 7-8 yo would be quickly bored with this one. My 3yo nephew rides this one. If you want a great quality kids electric let me know I can definitely point you in the right direction. We have 5 right now and love them.

As for ranking for electrics.

Kids electrics for ages 3-5, 6-9, 10-13
Oset and Kuberg both make excellent fast high quality youth trials or motocross style electric Dirtbike. Tho they are a bit pricey brand new sometimes you can find a good deal. However they hold their value. Then you have Domino and zeths which are a bit more reasonable for the 5-9 yo sized bike. These bikes will have better batteries and disc brakes and are much lighter than the razors.
Razor is probably the most sold entry level Dirtbike only because of its price point. It's heavy and has cheap batteries. It's great for its price but is pretty much a disposable diaper if you know what I mean.
Now if your looking for an adult sized electric these are the ones to buy.
Kuberg Freerider
Kuberg Ranger
Oset 24r
Sur Ron Bee
Sur Ron bee-light
I've also heard good reviews on the Segway x260 and 160 but haven't ridden one myself. We have both the Oset and Kuberg and love them.
Good luck and happy riding

I showed this to my cousin and she went to get one for her son, but they only brought it down to $200. Does anybody know why? And/or have any of you had problems getting the $146.40?

Helmet recommendations? I didn't think a regular bicycle helmet would suffice?
Any luck on finding a good helmet? About to start searching.

As a word of caution, Razor's own "Full Face Youth Helmet" that looks like an ATV/motorcycle helmet is not actually rated for motor sports per the 'most helpful' review on Amazon.

What is the warranty on battery? Will Razor replace it if something goes wrong in few months?

Good price. My 7 y.o. has one and has had it since he was 4 or so. No issues other than replacing the batteries earlier this year. Going to get him the bigger (MX650) one next year. I don't think he's quite big enough for that one yet.
I've been upgrading the MX350/500/650 for the kids lately. Yuu can upgrade the MX350 to 36v and have it last for another year or two if he's not tall enough
