Got a PS5 for my boys to give on Christmas. Is it worth it go get this now or wait? Do I have to create a PlayStation account somewhere else first?
Sorry if these are dumb questions, this is our first PlayStation. We've always had Nintendo systems.
I mean with a website like this (ie a somewhat sketchy one) you pretty much want to redeem it ASAP incase there's problems.
In which case you'd be wasting a full month.
So I wouldn't go crazy buying this right now imo. You will have to create a Playstation account, but I don't recall if that connects the user names and what not with it.
I'm sure some would disagree with me, but I'd personally wait
Thy are quite legit! Just bought one and I have already redeemed the code
I don't doubt that you can get and redeem the code.
My question is are they an authorized retailer selling legitimately acquired codes, or are they in the same category as cdkeys or eneba getting codes that may or may not bite you in the butt down the road

IMO you should jump on this and claim your keys after purchase. The site is legit and what's going to happen is you're going to end up needing keys in a few weeks and you'll have to pay full price because there's no sales at that time. I have 3 months left on my subscription and I still jumped on this.
Apparently, PlayStation codes do not expire, but better to claim it sooner than later with sites like this. YMMV.
I've had 2 expire from amazon. After a year. They had to refund me cause it doesn't say it expires, but sony was not any help. It was an amazon "courtesy"

Has Sony ever revoked codes or the actual membership itself?

That's interesting, because I've used PSN codes years later that claim they expired, but ended up working.
These go on sale all the time from multiple different sites. Most of the time the code is valid for 30 days after purchase. If anyone is getting a PS5 for christmas or to someone on christmas I'd wait till the week of to buy these. You'll waste a month and it's easy to make an account on playstation website or the app(easier) without having to use the console
Thanks, got one. Now my PS+ is good until 12/2023.

I've been using sites like this for 5+ years without issue. I've also never heard of anyone else having issues in these threads after the fact.

I have a year left, so I'd rather get a 30 dollar deal from something more legit if possible
