I think the Ryobi can be used with battery only.
B&D can be used with battery, DC 12V plug (car) or AC (house plug).
I bought it since I already own 20v batteries.
Link plz
Works on AC, 12v DC car outlet, and with 20v lithium as mentioned above. Awesome little compressor. I actually used it once to inflate truck tires to 80psi. It wasn't as fast as a shop air compressor, but it was faster than I expected, and much faster than any other portable battery or 12v compressor I've used.
If you own 20v max lithium black and decker or porter cable branded tools, this will be an excellent addition to your collection.

Yes it does.
Yeah if you look at the price history this isn't even a very good deal. It's been as low as $40.

Do I understand it correctly: you can use any of the 3 possible power sources (12V car auxillary, 20V battery, 120V AC wall outlet) for any inflation (high pressure or high volume)?
For example, I can plug it into a wall outlet and inflate a car tire?

Car tire? No problem. Higher volume than that might take a while. If I recall correctly it took about ten minutes to inflate the 80psi truck tires. (3/4 ton work pickup.)
