USB 3, 3.1, 3.2 etc etc... whatever it may be, all these cheap flash drives suffer from a very low write speed, especially, if you have more than a few MBs of data to transfer. Better to buy an SSD flash drive, those who really want speed for larger file transfers.
I purchased the 64GB version a few weeks back. It was supposed to be a 3.1, but they sent me a 3.2. I was actually very surprised as to how fast it wrote files. Maybe these will be the 3.2 also. I might take a chance on one.

With bizarre naming and renaming, in many cases USB 3.2 = USB 3.1 = USB 3.0. They are exact the same things. The transfer speed is up to 5Gbps.
I literally cannot stop myself from shit like this
lol same here. i already have many usbs from 4g to 128g. some of them i used occasionally. some even can't find where they are. these days it's hard to find use for usb drives.
these off-brand USB flash drives worry me, I have an old PNY drive that is still working perfectly, and an even older Lexar, so I am sticking with major name brands for reliability

Make live Linux usbs to get away from windows 10 spying. Typically live usbs not persistent just for preview. Once you like what you see, use that live usb to install it on another usb for persistence. Tag the USB. Tails Linux for anonymity. Linux mint cinnamon overall cool system. Nicehash has a crypto mining OS for usbs etc
I'm most likely going to return my C186 (USB3.2 version) for a refund. I just finished copying ~100GB of data to it and had to restart the copy 6 times to complete the transfer due to copy failures. The drive did recover after a reset each time but this drive does not inspire data integrity confidence.
ETA: I just checked the return policy page and am now wishing I had been more inclined toward respecting the less than glowing reviews of this "B team" product. Hopefully I will learn from this $11 lesson.
EETA: ChkFlsh also bombs out for my C186 tested on two separate platforms. I now strongly suspect it possesses substandard components.
