There seems to be a bit of confusion in these comments, so I did a bit of research. I don't claim this information to be 100% correct, but it is the best information that I could find.
One poster said the right-angle adapter was #DWARA100. This is not correct. That model is older and visually different. Another poster was correct in saying that it is actually #DWARA60. The other similar model that Dewalt currently sells is #DWARA120, which is black instead of yellow. Now, what is the difference between the 60 and the 120? Hard to say exactly. From the exterior, they are identical. Both have a 1.5" depth, both have a hole in the back to push the bit out, both are magnetic and impact-rated. The packaging for the 60 seems to claim 5x longer life. The packaging for the 120 varies between 5x and 10x. On the Lowe's website the packaging claims 5x longer life, but in person the packaging says 10x. (5x or 10x of what, I don't know.)
Anyways, the main difference seems to come down to weight. The 60 is about 5.29oz while the 120 is about 6.67oz, according to the website linked below. This difference in weight appears to be primarily in the gearbox, indicating that the 120 probably has beefier gears and will hold up to more abuse, especially from impact drivers. Nobody on the internet seems to have taken apart the gearboxes to confirm this theory, but it seems likely.
If you want more information on the subject, the Q&A on Lowe's and Home Depot didn't have any good answers, but the comments section on this[toolguyd.com] post were very helpful.
Also, ignore the information on Dewalt's website regarding these adapters. Their information seems to be outdated.
The right angle adapter is one of those thibgs you dont need often but is a life saver when you do. Def a good piece to have handy. Has helped me prevent massive frustration a couple of times now
This line would suggest it's impact rated: "Impact ready performance designed for use in impact drivers"
I bought the Dewalt right angle adapter from amazon for $20 that was on the front page the other week. This post is a better deal but I don't feel like going through the hassle of returning the Amazon order, and then ordering from HD, all to save $5 and get some bits I don't really need.
That definitely would suggest that but the impact ready right angle attachment sold separately is black in color on Amazon but that could just be different packaging color for the bundle set.
Got mine yesterday.. I think I have a defective bit holder. The bit got stuck inside the bit holder and won't come off. Plus the bit holder falls off easily from the right angle adapter.
