Not saying one product is better than the other, but one company makes nothing but audio products, another is known for portable battery packs and charging cables...
Alcohol
I own 2 of these and 2 party box 300. One word of caution for DJ-ing is the audio lag on these specifically. Almost 1 full second of lag, keeping them out of sync with headphones plugged into a mixer or controller (this delay exists even when using the wired connection) so if you are comfortable mixing In The headphones only can be a great solution. If you like the one headphone tactic it constantly sounds like a train wreck.

Oh geez. I was looking at this for an outdoor theater setup come spring, but now that you say that, I'll pass. One second of audio lag is way too much for something like that. Thanks for the personal experience.
What's do you mean audio lag? The both speaker not play sound at the same time?

The particular lag I'm speaking of would be like if a speaker was attached to my projector and the audio in the speaker lagged a second behind the video I'm seeing on screen.

I can handle a small amount of lag, but a second is too much for video.

Picked up this morning, loving it so far. Louder and heavier bass than the JBL Xtreme2 I picked up from previous SD $150. Returning xtreme2

Gonna p-p-p-pass. Otherwise, it looks cool.

I don't think there is a better party speaker around this size and price out there. Not much sound difference between the 100 and 300 and the 100 is cheaper and more portable. I love mine and use it everyday.
The 300 is slightly louder than the 100, but the bass is more deep & punchier

Can someone tell me the difference besides the price 100 vs 200 vs 300? Should I wait for the 200 to go dwn?
The 200 has not battery, so must be plugged into a wall / cigarette lighter in a car for power. A lot of reviews say the 200 is not even as loud as the 100. And while the 300 is louder and has a battery, some reviewers thing the 300 should have a much bigger sound for how much physically larger it is. Obviously though the 200 and 300 have a lot more physical connections that make them more versatile that way.

Honestly if you combined a nice used bass guitar amp with a decent speaker/PA I bet I could make it happen

People never think to hook up bass speakers for parties lol. It's so much loud

This looks much larger than my Logitech UE mega boom bluetooth speakers.
It is, but oh so worth it.

I was able to order one for store pick-up at a Target where I live, but nothing available for shipping, which I'm ok with.

My experience with the 300s: I can say these things are good for only one thing: playing one speaker at loud volume while plugged in. Sound quality is noticeably poor and paired speakers will CONSTANTLY go out of sync with each other. I had both replaced by JBL before I realized it was a design flaw and not faulty speakers. The Soundcore Rave manages to sound even worse than the JBLs though.

Picked one up last night, sound is very impressive. Now I'm contemplating a second one and stands for parties...
