Not saying one product is better than the other, but one company makes nothing but audio products, another is known for portable battery packs and charging cables...

I own 2 of these and 2 party box 300. One word of caution for DJ-ing is the audio lag on these specifically. Almost 1 full second of lag, keeping them out of sync with headphones plugged into a mixer or controller (this delay exists even when using the wired connection) so if you are comfortable mixing In The headphones only can be a great solution. If you like the one headphone tactic it constantly sounds like a train wreck.

Any audio lag when using two?
The sound quality when sync'd in stereo is phenomenal, I haven't experienced any lag with mine.

It has a 3.5" headphone jack input and output and two amped 6.35" mono inputs (one for a mic and one for a guitar). I don't know if the bluetooth stereo mode works if you're using a wired input, though.

I have two of these and this speaker has been available at $199 several times this year.

It's great for outdoor movies. I use a fire TV stick hooked up to my projector, linked to one speaker over bluetooth (the fire seems to think it's a bluetooth headphone, but whatever). Turn the speakers on, hold down the bluetooth buttons on both simultaneously for five seconds and the speakers link and connect to the fire TV. I do have to use a test audio clip to figure out which is right and which is left, though.
What outdoor projector do you have?

So helpful to know! Thank you. As much as I dislike mixing in headphones, I think for this deal it may be worth it to grin and bear it.

I will say that my hearing isn't as great as most people's. I am most definitely not an audiophile and my speakers are in use while I am doing other things which require more focus. I have had the Anker SoundCore 2, JBL Charge 3, the original JBL clip or whatever it's called. My son has Anker earbuds and I have had some old wired JBL earbuds.

I don't have any use for a "party speaker" and my question was an honest one about why one would be better than the other. I forget that I don't hear the nuances others do. Honestly, to me, the all sound fine... I am sure that will incite some sort of riot and it is probably not the answer you sought.
All fine man, I asked because I wanted to see what's comparison you are making. It is true for Anker speakers in small size speaker are not much different comparing to JBl. The speaker drivers are small that don't produce clear and punchy sound at max volume. Why would you pay a charge 3 cost $100+ dollars compares to an Anker sound core cost $30+ dollars only for 1/3 of the price. But, when comparing at the larger portable speaker like the party box. You can distinguish the high treble and tight punchy bass on JBL speakers. These speakers are in two different categories! Have a good day .

Buy it, I posted a deal for one last year that was more around 250 and have no regrets. I use this thing all the time. I bought it for tailgating specifically which we didn't get to do this year but I end up using it way more frequently than I thought. We take it outside when hanging out in or use it for parties.

Can someone tell me the difference besides the price 100 vs 200 vs 300? Should I wait for the 200 to go dwn?

Nice, how is the treble and bass on Marshall stockwell II comparing to Party Box 100 ? I mostly listen to heavy bass music like Hip Hop. So, I am looking for portable speaker out there could beat the bass on this Boombox100 ! Thanks
JBL is the right choice for you for Hip Hop and heavy bass. Marshall is more for vocal, instrumental and rock for the wide soundstage.

I've had one of these for over a year and love it. We use it for outdoor parties all the time. I also use it when I setup my projector outside for the fights. This thing is awesome. I really need to try the karaoke input. Maybe get some wireless Mics 🤔

If anyone wants a big speaker that is waterproof I highly recommend the Ecoxgear Boulder Plus and I think there is a new one since I bought mine. It floats and I take.it with me on the river, lake etc. It is a big speaker and has a handle and wheels and is built rough to be banged around

Can you please share other examples or situations you use this in?

I really want to get it but honestly don't see when I would use it. But I imagine in the one time I might need it this would be awesome.

[QUOTE=;][/QUOT If you want a big and loud space filling speaker then get something like this, if you don't need than then get something small like a JBL Flip 5 which is more than good enough. Nothing to stop you from using something like this big speaker in your house, the added benefit would be outside and you really need some extra volume

Oh geez. I was looking at this for an outdoor theater setup come spring, but now that you say that, I'll pass. One second of audio lag is way too much for something like that. Thanks for the personal experience.

Not that I (or the family) have noticed.
