Verizon had their 200/200 for 39.99
and it seems you maybe able to upgrade to the 300/300 plan for the same price without a contract for free.

Im guessing this isn't available in all areas. It doesn't hurt to check your account to see if you can upgrade you internet plan.
it seems you can cancel your plan and sign up for a new one and get 100 dollar gift card and an amazon dot.

edit: it is region specific. so far it seems the NY/NJ area works fine.

I just upgraded from 100 to 300 for 39.99. I went thru chat and told them Xfinity is offering 300 for the same price and I'm thinking to switch. They had no issues matching, first month bill 31.98.

I'm in north Jersey and use FIOS only.

My old price was $55 and it just went up to $60, no contract. Just had it lowered to the Mix and Match to $39.99 with auto pay (checking account debit or debit card NOT credit card to save the $10/mo) for 75/75. Without autopay it would be $49.99 per month.

I have coax and if I switched to ethernet, just pulling the cable from the ONT is a hassle. For that reason I can't get provisioned to the higher 300 Mbps speeds. But I'll do it during the summer and use my own router so that Verizon can't snoop at my devices, network, password, etc.

Edit: I had to call three times to get the $39.99 price. The magic words are Mix and Match.
Only got poor offers on the first two calls. I had no luck with chat but try that first.

I placed a cancellation order for my current service for 5/17. When I try to place a new order by entering SSN for credit check, it says invalid SSN. Just to be explicit, yes I am entering correct SSN. Anyone know why this may be happening? Is it because Cancellation date is so far or any other pointers?
