Q: Can someone clarify if AT&T prepaid WiFi calling works on all Unlocked phones? Why I ask is, I am using Cricket wireless and WiFi calling works only on Cricket branded phones and my home doesn't have good signal and rely on WiFi calling

I've been on the 8gb + 17gb walmart/At&t Prepaid plan for over a year and it looks like they're still offering it. 25gb of full speed data with hotspot for $40.00 per month is still a pretty good deal. Ya just need to purchase a cheap prepaid phone from them. I actually ended up returning mine after I got the 17gb bonus data.
These look like decent, single-month commitment options without much hoops to jump through. But I agree the Walmart plan is better at $40 and even the yearly $300 ($25/month) is better for the lowest price; that $300/year is 8 GB plus rollover and tethering. The catch is that you need to port in and have to commit for the year. My wife just renewed her yearly plan for the same price.

How long is it taking people to get their SIM card in the mail. I ordered on yesterday but my straight talk plan renews on the 12th so I need to port over before then. Think I might just cancel and try again next month.

You can always go get one from walmart or att store today
So can you purchase the cheap phone and put the sim in your already paid off phone. I ask because it sounds like a better deal and I paid off my note 10
It appears the 8GB + bonus data deal is gone. They have a special 25GB deal at Walmart. The new plan can't get a multi-line discount, but there is an auto-pay discount. It also looks like the phone purchase requirement is gone. Someone else posted the Walmart link earlier in the thread. I'm not sure why their plans are difficult to find on their site.

Ordered one last Sunday to move from T-Mobile and it was delivered within 3 days. Overnight shipping.
From what I read, you have to activate within 14 days of shipping.
Issue I notice is since ordering the SIM, now T-Mobile complains with "No-SIM" error message and no network at least twice a day. I have to restart phone to get back the network. Billing cycle does not end until 20th, so I didn't want to switch too soon

The new Walmart 25GB plan says $40 with autopay and $50 with refill card. Do you know that if I sign up for autopay through credit card and then load a prepaid card, will I still get the autopay discount? We can do that with the old Walmart 8 + 17 GB plan.

I don't have that plan, so I can't say for sure, but I believe it would work the same way. Keep it on auto-pay and then add the prepaid card.
so im trying to get this plan for my mother who already is on att prepaid. i need to find out what her renewal date is and get the $30 plan on that day or the day before?

Net10's coverage sucks. While people may get cheaper one line deals, this deal with the multiline discount is better. I have 5 lines first paying (all 5gb option) 30, then 20, 20 and the last two 10. That means 30+20+20+10+10=90. The yearly plans will go up every year while this plan, as long as its offered will stay the same. They could get rid of the plan in 6 mo. but its more likely it will stay for more than a few years. 90/5=18 dollars per line, can't beat it

I was just thinking this exact same thing when I read it. I'm assuming adding refill cards would still keep you at $40.00 as long as Auto-Pay is on but I guess we can't be sure until someone tries it with this new 25gb plan. I definitely don't like the way it's worded.

Yeah, the wording bothered me also. Will know more in a couple weeks. Question is if data performance is different with up to 25gb amount of rollover?

Admin here for a group of members for att prepaid. If you load your account the day before renewal for the amount due for example 40 dollars, the credit card will only be run for a 1 cent transaction. The actual amount will be taken from your account the day right after the renewal date at 3am
can i use an iPhone 12 on this prepaid plan or do they make you get their own phones? Interested in getting an iphone and then do prepaid; cheaper than doing a contract payment through t-mobile or verizon, or att. Any thoughts?
I was in $50 monthly plan with 5 lines for $140 a month...I just lowered that plan with $30 5gb plan..that brings my total to $90 for 5 lines!!! And if you get those discounted prepaid cards..it makes it even cheaper...really awesome deal!!
