If you plan on using ARC, don't buy a Sony. Terrible. Everything else I like about Sony receivers.

Never mind, this is stereo receiver with no HDMI. Not intended for home theater type applications.

What is this epidemic of not putting the price in the title lately? It would be nice to have that info to help decide if I want to click on the mobile notification and read the post.

Sony AV receivers are meh, IMO. If bluetooth is what you want, I highly recommend getting a logitech Bluetooth adapter instead. Much easier to configure and use. And with its RCA output, it will work with any AV receiver.

Agreed. I think it has to do with Slickdeals' crappy implementation of being able to post from the mobile app. It has to be manually entered into the text by the poster with no dedicated fill box specific for price. I could be wrong but it would save a lot of headache if Slickdeals made it more error-proof

What's wrong with Sony ARC? I have had DN1010, DN740 and DN790, hooked up to a Sony and Samsung TV. Haven't run into issue so far.

Somehow I could not see the option when posting the deal via the mobile app .

Correct I bought this to drive my fronts together with the X3600H. Hopefully that will reduce the load on my Denon. Plus if I want I can then just pay the fronts alone without turning my Denon on all the time ( if needed).

You will need a 3.5mm to 2 rca cable . the 3.5MM will go on the PC audio out and the RCA can go into any of the Inputs ( except Phono). Something like this :-

The menu on non sony tv's comes up and won't go away unless you grab the remote and hit home. The menu comes up when switching and it's annoying. Sony has had this issues (they don't see it as an issue) for a long time. It's so dumb.

Sadly I think you've answered your own question. Now you have to click in regardless. More hits.

If you only plan on hooking it up to a PC, you should probably consider a cheaper and much more compact Class D amp instead.

ARC works great on my STR-ZA2000ES. But for the price point, it better.

But you still need an amp, right? And you need a separate BT adapter for each device. VS the receiver which combines that into a single unit.

Correct me if I'm wrong I'm trying to figure out what to buy here (intending to stream music from a record player/phone, to decent analog speakers in the living room)
