Protip: phone numbers don't die as soon as you stop paying, they are "active" for 30-90 days with suspended service if you have a line you have the info you need to port in with. I procrastinated until the last day and I was relieved, but if if you have a spare that just shut down it can work too. If you have the info for a phone with "suspended service" that can be used for the deal too.
REFERRAL CODES: You can get a referral code using one of the many links in the the 2020-08 referral thread in the Reddit Cricket forum, google it. Get the code before your purchase. Enter the code when you activate.
DIFFERENT ACCOUNT NUMBERS FOR PORTED LINES: When you place the order, it will ask for the account number and PIN for only one of the lines you are porting in. If you are porting two numbers, you will get an email ("Important Update") requesting the account number for the second line. According the this post you will then later another email asking for the PIN.
Also, sometimes it can take 4-5 hours for them to send the email to update the account details. If you want it to be sorted quickly, after placing the order chat with the customer care and ask them to update the details. They will update it instantly.

Be wary of ebay seller sdcomputers4less . Multiple people claiming bad port numbers & wont refund even if you have not even been given a number yet. You have been warned!! I bet you don't have the guts to tell people who you are. You just post misleading info here. I bought three numbers from them and all delivered in two hours without any issue to port in.
Multiple posters have not stated bad port numbers and his numbers worked fine for me.
If a number turns out to be inactive or bad, your order will not be shipped. So, it is best to chat with the support after placing order to confirm everything is fine. If the number is bad, then the only solution is cancel the order and place the order again. If you have extra numbers, you can ask the support during chat to cancel the order and then you can place a new order with a new number using the same details you used for your cancelled orders.

Expired, the top is the code that doesn't work anymore. Some users have reported a pop-up offering a "Because its 2020, Take $20 off coupon". The process for getting the pop-up is, you add the iphone to your cart, then go through the checkout process (even enter your porting number information) but at the end dont go through with it. It took about 40 minutes for it to show up the last time I did it today (12/1/2020). When you do get the pop-up, select Apply Coupon, and it will take an additional $20 off. It says there is a Coupon code but it doesn't specify what the actual code is to apply manually. This does combine with the $25 referral bonus.

RSIM15 Instructions
This is what worked for me:
I activated Cricket service, set up the phone under my Apple ID, and also updated to the latest iOS. All that with Cricket SIM in tray, as per usual. [Did try to power on the phone for the first time with my preferred carrier's SIM (T-mobile) just to test if the phone comes unlocked but no luck there. It's locked.
To work with your carrier of choice, try RSIM plus carrier's SIM in tray. If you get the pop-up menu, code the ICCID as per instructions. I did not get the menu and was unable to change the ICCID that way.
The workaround was to remove the carrier's SIM and inserted Cricket SIM but with RSIM still in the tray. Then go to "Settings" - "Cellular" - "SIM Applications" - "Edit ICCID" and enter the most recent ICCID number (you can find one here: https://geveystore.com/).
They Gevey Store ICCID is not always up to date. I found the latest ICCID numbers here https://beta.unlockcode
After coding is done, remove Cricket's SIM, insert your carrier's SIM (again, with RSIM still in the tray), and you should be able to register on the carrier's network. I think I needed an extra reboot or two and had to enter Apple ID / Password to proceed.
After the phone connects on your desired carrier, be sure to navigate to Settings - Cellular - Cellular Data Network to ensure the APN settings for your carrier are entered correctly. For T-Mobile, use info found here: https://www.t-mobile.com/support/...ple-iphone
For those of you looking to do more than one order: Cricket appears to be sticking to their guns on the one per household, so you will need to do the second order to another address (Note your CC must also have that billing address)

You can buy the R-SIMs off ebay/amazon and they are usually $10 give or take.
It works reasonably well and the wiki talks about how to operate it, the only challenge is sometimes iOS updates break it and sometimes you need a new ICCID but for the most part it's great and allows you to use a SIM locked phone with any provider. and in this case you dont have to wait 180 days with Cricket to get an unlock code.
Keep in mind it is unlike the factory unlocking process which is permanent. Here you are dependent always on the R-SIM.
back in the day it also went by the name Gevey SIM.

Double check which sim you will need. I've gone to the apple store for a free Sprint sim, and a few times they gave me the wrong one. Not really their field of expertise
I wanted to know if it would be possible to merge my two accounts together and then close one line so that i get some credit back. I understand that i might loose the reference bonus for the second line.
But in only need one phone and the second i will use for exchange offers.

Step 1: Bought 4 Boost numbers off of eBay. Placed the order from seller sdcomputers4less and had no issues.
Step 2: Placed 2 orders (2 phones in each order). 1st order is shipped to my address and the 2nd order to my friends address.
Reason: Max 2 phones are allowed per address to take advantage of this deal.
Things to note:
1. On the 2nd order, I had a billing address mismatch between my Credit card and My friends address. So I used Privacy CC to generate a card for 200$ and placed the 2nd order
2. Don't forget add the 20$ off coupon mentioned by other user (C205HG3HKSUA). It gives you 2 phones for $ 169.98
3. If you have 2 phones in your order, they only ask you one of the port-in number's account and pin info. After an hour of placing the order, you'll get an email asking you for the Account number of the 2nd number. It asks you enter only the account number. Once you submit that, you'll get another email. When you click on it, it asks for the PIN. If you don't want to wait, just click on the same Update info link you get in the first email again and it'll ask you for the PIN.
