Well, what are you interested in procuring? The Acer is $50 less and 144Hz with a 1ms response time. Same (exactly the same I am guessing...but cannot confirm the Acer panel) as the Dark Matter deal...also @$349).

The LG includes a display port cable if that helps.
It is also 1" "larger". Otherwise, I don't see much reason to go with it unless you just prefer the name LG.

....of course, the Costco Acer went OOS and isn't available with the $349 price yet (Cyber Monday deal, right?). I bought one, planning to price match it later, but wasn't thrilled with the Acer (probably due to my own use case) as it seemed overkill (not much gaming for me) with mediocre color, so I returned it. That is not to say the value of that monitor isn't great when compared to other current offers though. Especially when combined with Costco's monitor warranty policy.
What're you getting instead? I did the same thing and was disappointed by the colors too. Calibrating helped a bit but could still be better.

Hoping for a deal ($400-$500) on a good IPS with usb-c (or 2xDP), >100hz, and <4ms. Probably dreaming though 😂

Any thoughts on this compared to the ISP 34WL500-B going for $250?

I used both Acer 34" and LG 35" from Costco. This is really good monitor. Lg is Lg.
So which one is better? Sounds like LG?

Same here. Weighing the 34" Acer Curved Monitor (assuming it gets restocked) vs this 35" LG Curved Monitor.

I have the Acer 34" (144hz) and wouldn't go anything less than 144Hz...IF U ARE A GAMER.

If u are not a gamer, I'd for for the LG.

Do they both have the same curvature, 1500R? I know the Acer is 1500r. If the LG is 1800r, is it a big difference there?

Only use CRTs for day trading. You get that sweet 0.01ms response time, and those deep blacks means your account will be deep in the black.

Which do you prefer? Is the LG one worth $50 more?

Without USB-C is this a deal breaker for Mac?
Just by a USB-C converter. It'll give you HDMI, USB3, etc. connectivity.

Perfect for office work and light gaming if you aren't holding out for a sub $500 IPS.

I wouldn't say this is bad for gaming, there are definetly better gaming monitors if you are a pro gamer or what the best...

Another difference between this and the Acer, Acer has no height adjustment, LG has inputs straight/perpendicular into the monitor, acer is parallel so will have a lot better adjustments on a desk close to a way or mount, however lacks height adjustments.

I was personally going to get the Acer but have decided to hold off on monitor as it's not a required purchase. But as others mentioned, if you are doing tons of competitive gaming then get acer, else grab LG

I returned Acer. Also you can control every monitor settings with LG software. It's really easy to use. Acer speakers are horrible. You will have to get extra speaker anyway. It's worth $50
