The LG includes a display port cable if that helps.
It is also 1" "larger". Otherwise, I don't see much reason to go with it unless you just prefer the name LG.
....of course, the Costco Acer went OOS and isn't available with the $349 price yet (Cyber Monday deal, right?). I bought one, planning to price match it later, but wasn't thrilled with the Acer (probably due to my own use case) as it seemed overkill (not much gaming for me) with mediocre color, so I returned it. That is not to say the value of that monitor isn't great when compared to other current offers though. Especially when combined with Costco's monitor warranty policy.
Hoping for a deal ($400-$500) on a good IPS with usb-c (or 2xDP), >100hz, and <4ms. Probably dreaming though 😂
If u are not a gamer, I'd for for the LG.

Another difference between this and the Acer, Acer has no height adjustment, LG has inputs straight/perpendicular into the monitor, acer is parallel so will have a lot better adjustments on a desk close to a way or mount, however lacks height adjustments.
I was personally going to get the Acer but have decided to hold off on monitor as it's not a required purchase. But as others mentioned, if you are doing tons of competitive gaming then get acer, else grab LG
