If you do 3D, you probably already have this. If you are new to 3D because you bought a projector that has it, enjoy!!
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

FWIW it hits the trifecta of a great movie, wonderful 3D, and a sweet price. Part 2 is also very good!!

Good to know, so only way to watch 3D at home now is if you have an old school 3D LED tv from the early 2010s or a projector?

I HATE having discs (after a long history of scratched/damaged/lost discs) but what I've come to find out is that 3D is pretty much unsupported digitally, so I've started collecting 3D movies. Lots of fun.

Well... they made 3D TV up till 2016, and finally got it right with the 4K Oled's. Then stopped producing all 3D TV's that year. I missed out on one. So when my 4 yo LG 3D TV died that year, I bought an Epson projector. I now have an Epson 5040ub, and love it. 3D looks great on it. A 3D blue-ray player and 3D glasses are also required.

Kind of a bummer, but at least there's still projectors! I have a 3D LG from 2012, part of me wants to upgrade the other part is like, man I won't get to watch 3D movies or play 3D games on the PS3!! I tried Gran Turismo 6 in 3D model and got pretty nauseous lol, my wife doesn't like the 3D feature at all :/

The other option is a personal cinema headset. I have the Cinera Edge Pro ordered through Kickstarter that connects via HDMI to a blue ray player. I am psyched to see the difference between that and my LG E6P as I have nearly 200 3D movies.

It's a shame the major television makers stopped supporting 3-D displays.

As a bona fide nerd, I can relate to Flint Lockwood. The character was very well done.

we just bout the epson 2100 to replace a dying projector and it has 3D capability, but where do you get the 3D glasses needed to use the feature? We have a PS3 which says it can play 3D and we have a few 3D blu rays, which ones besides this are worth getting

Any good active dlp 3d glasses on amazon or other will do.
I just got life of pi 3d from best buy for 11.99 or so. The consensus is that avatar and pi are amongst the top modern 3d
