I purchased 2 of these in July and have had them in a dry basement. Most of the shelves have noticeable warping.

I love these! I have 6 and now I will have 7. Been using this brand and size for over 6 yrs now and 100% happy! So is my extreme couponing wife. They sure are strong, one whole unit holds nothing but 12 packs of pop and is rock solid.

In one place it says 48x18, in another 36x12. Don't know how big they are, but they are 48x24.

For me, yes. The boards can warp and end up sagging more than a plastic shelf. You can always replace the PB with plywood though.
Cheaper to varnish them than to replace with plywood.

Did you load them full up with stuff?
Yes, but well under the advertised capacity. One I loaded with large plastic bins that helped distribute the weight, the other with open stock hand tools. I noticed warping on both.

I'll add that mine (purchased from Walmart with the same SKU as listed in the OP came with the proper vertical connectors. The metal parts are nice and went together well, I just wish they provided decent shelving material. I'm rather inconvenienced now by having to unload them and replace with plywood.

It's $99 after selecting the 24" dimension. The 18" is $59

I think all particle board based shelves will likely warp in time; mine have in a humid garage. But they are easy to replace and still a good deal.

Good data point but it looks like shipping at that time was $75 and turned people away from purchasing.

I have particle board shelves in my basement that are 20 years old and zero warping. And they are as strong as can be, It just depends on the quality of the board. And like they say they don't make them like they used to.

Any issue with warping? Looking to but in a hot and humid garage.
yes they will sag, depending on weight you have on it and of course the size of object. Used one to stack quart bottles of oil and it is sagging after about 8 months. You can run 1x2 braces, on their edge, under the shelves to stiffen. 2x4 laid flat can be used as well. I've been swapping to 1/2" OSB and painting them so liquids don't bother it. If your storing large tubs that would reach or hang over the edges then the sag would be not much at all

I bought a red one (with metal mesh shelves) for about $85 from Home Depot a few months ago. I am quiet happy with mine overall. Each shelf is rated at 500lbs; however I was little worry when I placed 6 car rotors (200-250lbs?) on one shelf. The shelf sagged with the weight of the 6 rotors and other car parts; I removed the rotors. It is great for plastic bins and not so heavy items.
Agreed. These are great shelving units when you're storing heavier objects
