That being said, the pictures at the link are not the SFF. The first is the desktop, and the second appears to be the USFF. Also, the 7010 has a mix of USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, not all 2.0. The SFF will run 32Gb of ram (8GB x 4).

Why need change cpu?
That being said, the pictures at the link are not the SFF. The first is the desktop, and the second appears to be the USFF. Also, the 7010 has a mix of USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, not all 2.0. The SFF will run 32Gb of ram (8GB x 4).
You can find similar priced off lease, older gen workstations on Amazon Warehouse as "renewed."

The amazon HP has a slightly faster processor, 8GB RAM, only 500GB HD, but it has 2 displayport outputs so it can drive a dual monitor. The one in the OP looks like it can only drive a single digital display (no one wants to use an analog VGA these days). The HP also comes with win10 pro, and amazon's 90 day guarantee.
For either machine, add on a $50 SSD and you'd have a decent machine. This ancient desktop's i5-3470 is actually pretty fast. While the HP one I bought (for less money) is a little faster, even today's i5-1035g1 that you see in the latest laptops is only ~30% faster (partly b/c I'm comparing a desktop to a laptop -- there's another bump if comparing to today's desktop i5's)
