If you want 16Ggis this works, not sure if the 32gig will from this brand, but I think so too as long as its the single rank.

Can i run plex on this smoothly without needing a computer to host plex?

My Need is to run 3 parallel streams and may be 1 stream needing transcoding

That processor has the integrated graphics, so if you have plex pass and use hardware transcoding it will be offloaded to the integrated gpu. if most of your work is direct stream, youll be fine.

Thanks yes i have plex pass- any easy way to pull my hard drives from current synology and installing to this device? Or i have to clean the drives and install as fresh
