G7 is not an ultrawide it has a standard QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440. Other than that The flickering issues that have plagued this monitor is supposedly fixed with the newest firmware update but YMMV.

Edit: Samsung calls this monitor WQHD, WQHD = QHD.

Ugh this is tempting... how's the split screen on ultra wides? Does full screening a YouTube video still take up the entire screen? That's the one thing that keeps me on two monitors instead of one. Much easier when gaming. =\ or honestly any work

Yes totally worth it. Super happy with mine and coming from IPS ultra wides . Main purpose gaming though. This is also a very good price I don't believe it has dropped lower
