If anyone is getting this solely to have a rack that clears a spare tire, you can get a hitch extender that would help any rack clear a spare. Still, this seems to be a good deal and saves you from having to buy an extender.
This is a good deal, i have the same but without the lock, i bought my own. FYI have a med length bungee cord to keep the front wheels from swinging. Get a extra long bike cable with a lock, that you can hook to the tow hitch, when you wanna leave the bikes on the rack. To clarify, the LOCK they're talking about is to lock the rack to the hitch, not the bikes to the rack.
My van does not have a spare tire.Any issues using this model, or should I wait for the regular premier locking version?
I would say this one is better. It sticks further out to have less chance for the bike front wheel hitting your back door. I just placed the order for my 4runner.

That is a different (lower end model) compared to Premier Locking version.
