This deal is obly recurring because its a black Friday deal that goes in and out of stock. If you need it then get it, its the hdd deal of the year.

It's part of their Black Friday sale and this year they are doing that sale intermittently and presumably only until Black Friday. So there could be a period after the holidays that this may not got on sale, but 16tb production ramps up and if you are able to wait, there is always going to be a better deal. Just don't count on snagging one just when you need it.
This particular 14tb external was first available for under $200 last December and there's been deals all through this year for $200 or less. This current deal isn't breaking any new ground price-wise.

Negativo. This is the same as the 8 and 12tb. If you plan on shuccing, they're a bit more difficult, but that's no big deal for the price

You can use external storage with PS5 but you can only run PS4 games on it. PS5 games have to be on the SSD drive to play. Also the max capacity of external storage on PlayStation 4 & 5 is 8TB.
