The X90CH is the warehouse (Costco/Sam's Club) version. They have a different model number so they are not open to price matching.
do yourself a favor and go over to rtings.com and read. Then you'll understand. Do some research.

So, I really need help deciding between this or the Samsung Q80T.

Is the Samsung worth the extra money? Ratings comparison shows the Q80T wins in almost all categories

For slightly more than a 50% price increase? Definitely no. Unless you're worried about the glare then I'd still say get this set first and try it out and if the glare is too much then consider paying the extra amount. Keep in mind the Samsung will still have glare, just not quite as bad.

I don't have a current Costco membership but was planning on getting one just to get a TV since the included 5 year warranty would be worth the $60 fee. But did they happen to lower the price of the 55" model by chance? I see BB lowered it down to $919 again for My BB Members, was hoping Costco did something similar. I can't justify paying $969 for the 55" if the 65" is the same price even though the 65" model would not work with the space I have.

Thanks

This over Q70T any day. Samsung really put out some crappy hardware in all but their top tier lines. I've purchase 5 TVs over the last 4 or 5 years, first time I'm stepping away from Samsung. I have the 85 900H sitting in my living room waiting to be hung, haven't powered it on yet so I can't comment on picture.

P.S. The step up to a Q80T is too much... yeah it's better, at almost everything, but it's a lot more money.

It's not even close. The Sony is a far better set. Samsung comparative is q80t.

The x90ch is better overall, but may depend on your use case. Check rtings for their ratings on the different features.

From what I've been reading if this deal is anything like the last round the 55 won't go down much if any. Sorry I can't provide a link to verify this though so it is more of some random guy said it on the internet kind of info. someone on the 75 " thread did a nice cost comparison on the 3 sizes that have gone on sale now, and the 65 definitely looked the best to me. I also have a 3 year old though so really want that warranty Smilie

Yes... Costco currently has the 55" for $919.99 through 11/28. I'm looking for another 55", but I'm waiting to see if it will go lower. I waited out the 55" X950G last year and got one on BF for $798 at B&H Photo.
