The X90CH is the warehouse (Costco/Sam's Club) version. They have a different model number so they are not open to price matching.

do yourself a favor and go over to rtings.com and read. Then you'll understand. Do some research.

I've been debating between this and the Vizio P Series, according to rtings the vizio has much better scores. But I would think the Sony has more longevity. Also the vizio isn't having VRR issues. Any advice would be helpful!
The vizio gets much brighter and has more dimming zones. If hdr is important to you and it should be buying a tv like this then the vizio will work better.

Almost got this but decided for a $500 tv. I've just heard of too many issues with this set. I'll give them a year or two to get all the new features and firmware sorted out. Remember, buy because of what it is today, not on what it's promised to be tomorrow. Sony definitely hasn't delivered on their promises for this set.

Can anyone recommend a solid pedestal stand? Wall mounting isn't an option for me and my tv cabinet is too narrow for the legs in this tv
I use this one for my 65" Q70R. Very stable... and the swivel feature is great.

Is this available in warehouse?
Yes, it is.

I just exchange mine. I had previously purchased it in October. Loved it but it developed a single permanent line from left to right about 2 pixels thick in the lower third of the screen. Returned it to Costco without a problem and bought a new one. Already back up on the wall.

Besides the model number, is this identical to the x900h in terms of features, ports, etc? Interested in this mainly for HDMI 2.1 with PS5.
Exactly the same except longer warranty.

Missed out on the deal in Sep, just bought the X750H 3-4 days ago (Still in box). I quickly ran to my local Costco where the X90CH had only 2 left. I immediately bought it and returned the X750H.

Even though this comes with a 5 year warranty they tried to pitch the SquareTrade/Allstate warranty, saying that the repair guys will come to you to fix the tv vs going through Sony and having to ship the TV or bring it into a repair center. It's 64.00 its basically double protect yourself with Sony and Allstate, I think on 1K tv, what's another 64.00 for a piece of mind? Now $300.00 for a warranty that would be different. Thoughts?

In wondering the same!
The Q70T has edge lit vs the full array of x900h. Plus there is no local dimming in Q70T. Samsung downgraded their models from last year.

Losing my mind at this point. Bought the 75" at $1559 because $200 more than the 65" was a no brainer. But now it's a $600 difference! I sit about 10 feet away and could get by with the 65". Should I save the $? Argh!
I lost my mind to. At this point, I bought a 75" sitting at 9 feet, while great for immersion it dominated the living room space so returned it. So it really depends on what you want the room to look like too. For now, I think 65" is the biggest I'll go.

Bought it last time this was on sale at Costco. Love the Tv but I have one issue that I dont know if its the Tv or a software issue. I have a Direct Tv wireless box connected to it and it always says no signal when I power both units on. I have to power on & off multiple times the Tv box & Tv to get the picture to show. I've tried different HDMI inputs & cords, with no luck. Did a factory reset & some of the other things advised, but again, no luck. Its been doing it since the get go & it's frustrating. Thank you in advance for any input.

If I hate the Android interface, is there native functionality I will "lose" using a 4K Fire Stick?

And is there any reason not to just run a single HDMI to the TV from my receiver (Yamaha TSR-7850) and my fire stick and DVR to that, which is what I'm doing with my old Sony DLP?

slightly off topic.... can I buy a Squaretrade warranty from Costco if I buy the TV from Best Buy? I'm reading the TOS from the Costco link and not seeing that the TV purchase has to be from Costco.
