The X90CH is the warehouse (Costco/Sam's Club) version. They have a different model number so they are not open to price matching.

do yourself a favor and go over to rtings.com and read. Then you'll understand. Do some research.

If you apply in store and you are approved, you can get a temp number on the spot. If online, you can't as Citi doesn't give instant card number like amex.
Yep. I applied online for the credit card a few days ago and it is in the mail. I didn't want to miss out on the sale and extra 2 years so I went to customer service and told her just that. The nice lady printed me out a temporary card to use. When I went to checkout, it didn't fly because my card is already in the mail, is what they concluded. After a few associates and the manager got involved, the helpful associate signed my receipt stating that I could bring the receipt back when I received my card and return and repurchase and get the additional 2 years. I didn't have to complain or anything. He was very apologetic for making me do it this way.

X950 is OLED I believe. But doesn't have HDMI 2.1
X950 is not oled. It's brighter though and a little better picture but no hdmi 2.1. X950 is the better tv if you don't care about hdmi 2.1.

X900h doesn't have great viewing angles. Q80t has better angles bc of the film they use on their screen.

Q70T doesn't have local dimming either I believe, which makes it edge lit and not FALD like X900H, this was the reason I got the x900h last sale. It would be comparable to Q80T or Q70R, but those are hard to come by at this price
Exactly. X900h has local dimming and very good local dimming at that. It's a far superior tv to the q70t.

Missed out on the deal in Sep, just bought the X750H 3-4 days ago (Still in box). I quickly ran to my local Costco where the X90CH had only 2 left. I immediately bought it and returned the X750H.

Even though this comes with a 5 year warranty they tried to pitch the SquareTrade/Allstate warranty, saying that the repair guys will come to you to fix the tv vs going through Sony and having to ship the TV or bring it into a repair center. It's 64.00 its basically double protect yourself with Sony and Allstate, I think on 1K tv, what's another 64.00 for a piece of mind? Now $300.00 for a warranty that would be different. Thoughts?
Not necessary.

Been waiting for this one and pulled the trigger. I got the email to schedule delivery but the delivery company's site (Innovel) is so awful, it doesn't even work. Of course no answer on the phone number given. Anyone else experience this?

Thanks OP! Actually, just had mine delivered today....so I'll be doing the price adjustment through Costco.com.

My delivery experience was bad.
Original date of 11/17...no info provided so called on night of 11/16...they couldnt provide an update told me to google sony help.

Received a message later that delivery was delayed until 11/19 - finally received tracking info.

Tracked package and it showed it arrived at warehouse 10min from my house morning of 11/17.
Called and ask if they could move delivery up to 11/18 and they did...

On 11/18 - no phone call, no info...have to call them again.

I'm told the TV is in another state and the earliest they can get it to me is 11/21. 😏😏😏

Anyway....I'm liking the TV so far...still want to tweak the picture settings (anybody have recommendations?) but setup and UI is easy and sleek.

I have the 65 q7dt. I have had no issues as you describe and none of the issues being reported on the 900h. Specification wise it is not on par but the picture to me is better than my 2018 qled Samsung with fald. The tizen os is nice. I like the SmartThings integration where it notifies you of ring camera events and shows camera on screen. This Sony is a great deal for the specs. I have always been a Sony fan and only recently replaced my Sonys with the Samsung's. I also like the stand better on the q7dt.
You had the Q7 which doesn't have the DSE that the Q8 and higher had. You can check reviews sites. It's a completely different TV (No FALD backlight) and the grey uniformity is miles better). I know, I owned two. I had a KS8000 before this that was flawless. I'm a Samsung fan too.

Solid TV. Should be no DSE on this set but I let the folks on this site check. DSE would look like vertical bars you would notice during scrolling like hockey games and soccer games.

But overall, a solid TV.

Depends if you want a corner stand or low profile stand which I use.

Assuming you have a couch... A lower level stand is recommended unless you have a couch with a high back that reclines like at movie theaters.

I have a stand like this. It does not have to be in a corner. Mine is lower to the ground.

The idea is to have stand to match the TV. A black TV with a white stand is distracting. The stand should integrate with the TV. I prefer dark colors. If my side speakers are black..so is the stand. Make sure the center is eye level is best.

Of course. Getting a high back couch is the best since gravity is your enemy when watching TV.
