Great deals OP - but folks be aware that in the last 3 months they have turned Alexa into a full time saleslady. Ask for the time and in the last few months u get time PLUS "Any time is a great time for gift giving. Would you like some suggestions?" This is now in the program deep - no matter the request - and I am gonna gather up my beloved Echos and Dots and sell them as a group on ebay. I don't need a "pop up ad" living in my house...

Has anyone had experience with not sending in their Echo trade-in, and then being retroactively charged for the amount equal to the 25% discount? I know you will get charged for the gift card, but unsure if Amazon will definitely charge for the discount applied as well. Terms & conditions say that they CAN, but it's not a guarantee. Any info from someone who has done a trade-in in the last 2 months is appreciated. Thanks.

This isnt true. She does turn sales lady every so often but its rare and i havent noticed any increase in frequency.

Anybody know if this one hears better, or whats better about it? I have several 3rd gens. They often misunderstand me and its frustrating...

Same lol. I mainly keep her around so i can change the thermostat temp from my bed with my voice with my wifi thermostat. And it makes a ok radio. Oh and a super easy alarm clock.

Alexa is frustrating though so its a like-hate relationship.

I want the 25% to apply right away . I cant get it to work. It doesnt even show the 25% will be applied on the trade in page when you view and manage your trade in offer. I tried with registered product to my acct , without registered product and from main trade in page too (which for some reason doesnt have echo dot 3rd gen). Kind of annoying.

Chat is saying the discount does not apply to $39.99 price

This is easily able to be turned off in the Alexa app settings.
