TV lacks mini LEDs of 2020 (well, no one really has it but TCL). And, some features for gaming, but it's still a very good 75 inch TV for the money beating even today's TV price to value. Gets really bright, VA Panel deep black.

If you don't game, this is a great deal.

I have the 55 inch version of this TV mounted over my fireplace and love it. Got it for 399 at Costco earlier this year. But it's true, the current 6 series is better panel, 120hz refresh, etc so for the few hundred extra bucks I would get that vs this personally

This isn't a "deal", as this model (615) has been at or near this price for some time. The other model (63#) has been around $1300ish, so that model at this price may qualify as a deal, but this one... not too much

I believe the 617 has an rf remote. I bought this TV earlier this year on a price match to BrandsMart for $999 and $100 back in rewards.

I think the 617 was the Costco model. I bought a 55R617 back in March when they still had them in Costco stores.

The new 6 series has 120hz native refresh vs 60hz on the prior year models like these
