Note, a new Fi customer is somebody who is new to Google Fi on either a new plan or a new member as a part of an existing group plan.

TO qualify for the $500 discount:
  • Activate the Samsung Note20 on a full service plan (data-only SIMs do not qualify) within 30 days of the shipment confirmation email and remain active on Google Fi for 90 consecutive days.
  • You must also bring/transfer your number to Fi within 30 days of the shipment confirmation email. Fi-to-Fi number transfers are not eligible.
  • If you choose to get a new number, you will not receive the $500 discount.

Yeah - better not challenge Google on the 3 month service. Their customer service is really not that good. Difficult to get money back for everything.

Anyone returning the Pixel 4A 5G ($299) for the Note 20 5G ($499) or Note 20 Ultra 5G ($799). I know the latter two are much better phones but they don't have eSIM and have Samsung bloat (and I know Samsung bloat, as I've had an S9+ for 3 years that's still worth $375 to Fi).

Actually, what I said might be wrong. Please the read the other posts posted by others about this. The deal I got in on originally (for a Motorola G7) didn't require a number to be ported in and you could cancel immediately after activation.

You might actually have to use the Note 20 with the sim for 3 months before cancelling.

my pixel 4a 5G haven't ship yet. Im debating if I want to cancel it to get this note 20. I'm using note 10 plus at the moment.

I already am on Google Fi. And when I go to shop for new devices seeing the same price. So seems like it's $499 for existing Fi member as well. Unlike the Pixel 4a 5g which is $299 for new and $349 for existing customers. Am I missing some thing?
