I know it shouldn't matter to me so much, but I do wish they had a better color scheme. Noctua makes some of the best fans/coolers available, but they remind me of a station wagon from the 70s or something. It has nothing to do with performance and it's 100% subjective (and irrelevant if your case has no glass), but personally I'm not a fan of the color.

Its by design. How do people know when Noctuas stuff is installed? Because of its look.
People pay the price for the label. You can honestly buy something 99% as good at a fraction of the price. Scythe Fuma 2 is ridiculous price in comparison and it hits within a few degrees of it. People talk about Noctua because its got the look/bragging rights.
I say this as a person with a NH-D15s.

I'm building a new computer and using a Le Grande Macho RT in the new one too. This Noctua is a great cooler, but the Le Grande Macho is like 1-2% better.
