I bought the 512GB 950 Pro years ago for a little under $300

The bigger poopy part of it is that these "super fast" devices aren't really very impressive in real world activities. You're shaving seconds off of computing time daily with them.

I bought 250gb in 2013 for $200. What is your point? Tech depreciates.

Anyone know if this will potentially work in a PS5?
This is a PCI-E 3.0 drive, not fast enough for the PS5, which requires a PCI-E 4.0 drive capable of ~7 GB/sec read speed as far as I know

I'm thinking of cancelling my Hynix P31 gold, how much better is this for $10 more, 1tb?

The hynix is better. The evo plus is about the same as the hynix.

Is 970 EVO Plus better than EVO? Thought I remember reading EVO was better without the plus moniker?
Evo plus is better. Not sure why anyone is buying this. The evo plus is the same price through Samsung with cash back...

One of the best reliable M.2 NVMe but 500gb is hardly anything if you plan to install few games or planning to toy with any videos/photos.

I thought about getting the Samsung 2tb NVMe for my desktop, but then I remembered that my motherboard has PCIE 2.0 slots, so I went with the Samsung 2tb SSD.

Likely more than you need but for this price might as well. Here is the PSA: be sure to set them to READ only. Do some research before you set them to READ+WRITE because there are lot's of discussions of disasters with consumer NVME drives being able to write.

Same but it was the 970 Pro I believe in this machine I am using. Amazing right?
