So I assume there's a delivery fee, etc for instacart? I've never ordered through them so just curious how good of a deal this is? Are the prices higher than in club as well?

First time ordering from Sams and the coupon kept erroring saying it only applies to the first order. Tried with a different account and got the same thing. I've never ordered from Sam's before and don't have a membership. Not going to order.

1. Higher to much higher prices than directly
2. 7.99$ delivery charges vs regular grocery stores 3.99$, unless you're an instacart express member.

Pulled the trigger on three packs of Beyond Burger patties (8-count, total of 24 patties) for $33 (before tip). This brought the price per patty down to $1.33, which beats the still-great price Beyond Meat had when they were promoting their summer grilling 10-pack for $15.99 ($1.60/patty) at all the major grocery chains this past summer. Decent deal. Ordered 5 bags of Members Mark Walnuts (3 lbs) [instacart.com] and saved about the price of one bag (reg. $50 but paid $40 incl. service fee and tip). Had to link my Sam's Club membership # to get better price.

You can sign up for 'Express Member Free Delivery' free trial for 2 weeks and get free delivery for the first order.

Even if you live 1 mile further than Sam's Club serviceable area they don't deliver so I had to give a nearby shopping mall as the delivery location. Costco/BJ's coverage is much better on Instacart.

If you look at the store details under Pricing Info it will usually tell you if the prices are higher or the same as in-store.

$20 off is OK but not a rare feat for first-time customers. I think I got $35 when I first joined and have since received a couple of coupons for $10 off. Also, Instacart frequently has free delivery. We order groceries once a month or so. Get emailed a promo at least once per month. I think I've only paid for delivery once in the past 2 years. Don't quite order often enough to benefit from Express.

Everytime I shop at Sam's Club via Instacart, they offer me a chance to renew my expired Sam's Club membership at checkout for reduced item prices.
But renewal always fails, resulting me getting the membership price without a membership everytime.

Oh ok wow didn't know prices reduce if you link your membership #. Thanks for that. That is a game changer for this promo then. Otherwise, Sam's is not all that bad. Infact curbside pick up facility is fantastic.
