This is the only 3rd party app or software that can access and record your Wyze cams without any hacking or mods to the cameras. (all Wyze app and account functions continue to operate as normal) It can continuous record from the Wyze (with no cards in the cameras) or do motion-detect or person/car/pet-detection based recording. You can record to local storage, to cloud service (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, ownCloud/NextCloud), or FTP server. You can watch multiple cameras live feed on the same screen or one camera full-screen. It can run an internal web server so you can access your feeds via a web browser, not just the app. It can also output an RTSP feed of a camera (not sure if it can do multiple, I've only tried it on one) to YouTube or Facebook live.
The main downside is that it can only run on an Android system. I'm using it on Nvidia Shield and am experimenting with a PC running android emulator (works but kinda bothersome to set up). Other people run it on an old phone or android tablet.
This makes the Wyze cams really useful to me. Not everything I want to view the feeds on can take an actual Wyze Cam Application install. They work with Google Assitant/Chromecast however they take so long to load (north of 30 seconds typically) that it makes the cams all but useless. I want to see what is happening when I have indication something is happening. Seeing what is happening a minute later is not that helpful. This app pulls the Wyze Cams up quickly. The app also works with about a bajillion other cams if you have a mix and match setup.
TLDR: Makes quick work of Wyze Cam viewing but you need to trust them with your Wyze credentials.

It's the gold standard IMO, wish it was available for iOS.
Does this allow storage of video with the app? Just wondering why this app would be a good compliment to Wyze cameras

I have not personally added different brands of cameras but I don't a reason why it wouldn't work.
