That is the Ultrabook version whereas this is the Powerful Productivity version, similar to XPS 15 but in a 2-in-1 360 degree design.

That Model has a quad core 15W TDP i7-10510U and a very low end MX330 Graphics card which are Ultrabook level hardware, suitable for day-to-day tasks like browsing, streaming media, documentation and may be some very basic photo and video editing. However, due to the lower spec hardware, it will give you better battery life. You can do some gaming but at very low settings for any modern games and probably in 720P.

This model on the other hand, has a 45W TDP 6 Core Core i7-10750H which you normally see in the gaming laptops and nearly 50% faster than those U series Processors. Similarly, the GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q is like over 50% to 100% more powerful than MX330.
Because of the combo of powerful CPU and GPU, you can do a lot of demanding tasks in this machine, like 4K Video Editing, rendering, Video Encoding, Huge Code Compilation etc. You can even do gaming at 108P with decent settings.
But it will have shorter battery life over the BestBuy version due to having much poweful components.

Not much. Only Lenovo has Yoga C940 15 2-in-1 has similar configuration, i7-9750H and GTX 1650. However, this model has better thermals than Yoga.

I bought the somewhat comparable Best Buy Spectre 15 on Saturday, so I'm torn whether to go through with returning that (when it arrives) and ordering this one. I'd probably go with the upgrades to the color blue, and the 400nit screen. Cost increase over Best Buy laptop would be $90 after tax. That $90 difference would get me:
1. Upgrade to 10750H processor and 1650 Ti GPU
2. 135W charger (instead of 90W charger from Best Buy's)
3. 400nit screen (instead of 340nit from Best Buy)
4. Blue color
Cons:
1. People don't seem to like HP support if there is issues. Is that accurate?
2. This one would run hotter, and have lower battery life. Some reviews say you can throttle it on battery and it is equivalent. Anyone with that experience that can confirm? Based on reviews, it seems the HP.com laptop has a slightly upgraded vent layout to deal with heat dissipation.
3. This HP.com laptop won't ship until Dec 22nd.
4. I'd have to deal with returning the Best Buy laptop

Anyone with suggestions, thoughts, or feedback, I'd love to hear it.

Mine is supposed to arrive next Monday. I might drop it off in person just to ensure nothing happens to it (as opposed to if I shipped it back). It means I'd be waiting another month for the laptop to arrive from HP, but that isn't a huge concern for me.

I am on my 2nd spectre. First was the 8th Gen model with the core i7 and mx150. Super reliable but was not good at anything graphically intensive. My current one is the 9th Gen model with the 9750h/gtx1650 in the blue color with oled. I love it. It has every feature I could really want at this price point. The only other laptop I was considering is the envy x360 with rtx2060 and oled. If you do a lot of media consumption with it, the oled is the panel to get.
It can run windows vr, assetto corsa, and has been super stable. Yes it runs hot but using a laptop cooler helps a lot. No issues with mine and I have had it a few months.
Tldr: The HP Spectre is the king of laptops at this price point. Highly recommend the 'h' version with dedicated graphics.

How does the blue color with the brass look in person? Seems like an odd choice, but I guess it sets it apart from just about everything else in the market.

Its blue with chrome. I don't see the rose gold in it like my older laptop. Maybe it has a hint of rose gold but it's more chrome to me. May want to check some images online but it looks nicer then the rose gold version
