My question is can I port in a number today, tomorrow, or before the 30 days, for the $100 port-in? If yes, would I use the number I got from Costco or the port-in number for the $200 Costco card? I see many mixed answers on this in this thread. I know for the port-in, obviously it'll be the port-in number, but not quite sure about the Costco BYOD.
Thank you!
Edit: I forgot to mention that once I inserted the sim card, I got the welcome text from T-Mobile and I saw the 2020 Line On Us 3 on my account.
But we can come to a few conclusions right off the bat. The whole IMEI thing is silly, I don't even know why they care about the IMEI to begin with. Chances are this is red tape and the person processing the promo is just looking to make sure the IMEI coming from costco matches the IMEI you submitted with the promo.
As far as double dipping, my guess is that you want to port in the number AFTER youve signed up through Costco. Then, fill out both the $100 promo and the $200 promo using the PORT in number, not the original new line number.
i already did that about 2 hours back at Costco

Last night, I bought five numbers from eBay seller ignatto for a total of $41.20. They were from Boost Mobile.
I had two iPhone 8s, two Moto e6s, and one LG V10.
Went to Costco to add the lines. They had to call TMo to change my account type, as I had a 55+ plan. Other than that, the process was smooth. I tested each line before I left.
The paperwork handed to me included five rebates to submit. Now I have to research the TMo $100 rebate process.
My monthly bill increased by $130, which I hope to pay only for a few months. For $1500, it is a small price to pay.

I read costco rebate form again and it clearly said "In warehourse only. This offer cannot be combined with other promotions. Device must be active for at least 3 billing cycles". Since costco $200 card is also T-Mobile rebate (just in the form of costco card), would it be risky to combine with $100 port-in rebate?
On the printout paper they provide at Costco, everything is spelled out in detail with the parentheses. They tell you where the codes are and what they're from. "IMEI number(written above), Kiosk number(written above)".
The key point here is for "Permanent wireless number" it does NOT say to use the number associated with the promo. All it asks for is a permanent number that isn't temporary. It also adds if it's a tablet promo, then you need to use the associated tablet number. But it doesn't say that for non tablets.
So I just wrote alot of words explaining that I'm quite convinced there is no where on the printed sheets or the form we fill out that we need to submit the new number we just activated and/or will port in over
Got my free line too.
Thanks,
