And then when shopping for seeds, look for dwarf/hydroponic variants. I had the best luck with those over the years.

Oh I assumed the seeds would dry out if left lying around. Or perhaps the growing medium they sit in would get too filthy for use.

They generally are guaranteed for 1-2years and supposedly you can contact the company for replacements if they don't grow.

I left one of my pod for 7 month in the drawer and it still germinate. I also had some that did not grow fresh out of the box, called them, and they ship me new ones hassle free.

Please note that these are very bright.
