pCloud drives appear as actual local volumes, or drive letters on PCs. This means you don't have to have a local copy of all your files like with Dropbox, and applications can interact with files just like they're on your computer *and* be able to share the same files with other computers.
Dropbox has to have files downloaded to each device connected to it.
pCloud has that as an option, but can also have files virtually in folders which stream live if you are connected to the internet.
So files don't require and occupy storage space on each device.
If you see a file you want, you click it, and it instantly loads as if it was there all along.
Can this be used as a Cloud sync for photos taken on my Android phone? Wondering if this service can replace Google Photos since unlimited photo storage is ending in June

- 2TB Shared link traffic (Generated when people stream/download content from your shared links)
Is this the lifetime limit for sharing data? What happens when you reach the limit? No more sharing forever?
Does this mean it only syncs data from your phone automatically, what about from PC? Information on the site is pretty minimal. I guess just got to try it.

It resets monthly per their site and that's just referring to shared link traffic. That means if you have files on pCloud that you want to share with someone else you can generate a link and when someone uses that link to download the files that is "traffic". You can essentially share 2TB per month with others but that has nothing to do with your own usage.
It syncs data from PCs automatically too with the software. You set up what you want to sync and if you want the files to even be on your device- or if you just want it to virtually appear like it and stream it live when you want it (and not occupy storage space)

Looks like you can desktop sync too.
