I ordered this the last time and the led strip just kept cycling through all the colors. The remote didn't control anything. Had to return it.

If it was anything like the ones I bought, you had to hold down the power button on the remote as you plug the light in to sync the remote to the LED strip. After that, I could manually change the color and settings.

Decent deal but keep in mind, an IR remote requires direct line-of-site operation to the receiver. I have two LED strips behind two diff TVs. One is IR and it's kind of a pain - any time you want to turn on/off or change colors you have to put the remote basically behind the TV to point it to the receiver. (I could have taped the receiver to the bottom of the TV just barely protruding below the bottom edge, but that might also look ugly)

I have another strip with RF remote, and it's awesome to be able to be lazy and sit on the couch and mess with the lights from there! Smilie

Official shill company.
Previously called Minger and banned. Came to some new partnership with SD, unbanned, and promoted/shilled nonstop.

Initially they offered big discounts to get new name out there and establish themselves, but
This isn't even a good price anymore.

Am I missing something? It's $8 more for an extra 4 feet of lights? Not sure how this is any better of a deal than the OP.

I definitely might be missing something though.
