SE is better at:
- pure performance and speed (underclocked A12)
- gaming (so smooth)
- 5 years of updates
- video quality (no contest)
- durability (IP rated water resistant)
- resale value (again, no contest)
- ergonomics if you have smaller hands (or if you don't like pocket bulges)
4a is better at:
- battery life (by a HUGE margin)
- screen clarity and size (easier to type)
- still image quality (has Night Mode)
- built-in call screening (so good at blocking Spam)
- AI features if you use them (I don't)
- ability to side-load apps like YouTube Vanced (no ads)
I have a 3a and an SE, and I use the SE as an iPod Touch and the 3a as a daily driver. I'm OS-Agnostic.
There is no other phone that will last you 5 years at $339.
So total goes for :
49$ + 60$ + 30 x 4 more months of service totaling = 230$
One can also get $25 additional referral bonus.

I loved this mfer. Yes the battery sucks. But...that's assuming your using it non-stop. If your on wifi. You will get all day use no problem. Turn down brightness. Low power mode. Turn off background app refresh. Facebook apps kill the battery.
I would get this for a child, grand parent, or if you just jumped ship from Android.
It can record up to 4K at 60fps, suffice to say; the camera is freaking amazing.
It's stupid quick. The best part about this phone. The processor on board was, until recently, the best one out there.
Screen is excellent for the price and size...yah it's small for most of us....but perfect for those who don't need worry about "size".
Apple care+ is under $200 and if anything happens. $75 for a replacement phone is a steal.

That's depressing. I've had my iphone SE in an unopened box since the March deal. Battery life is the most important thing to me. I'm still using my iphone 6 that I replaced the battery in 2 years ago and wanted to get my money's worth out of it. Speed wise it's okay. I use it fine.
The March deal was great though. $200 plus activation fee when the phone had just come out, it was basically a pre-order. Still haven't seen a better deal 7 months later.
64GB - $339 ($50 off)

128GB - $389 ($50 off)

This is the lowest price I've seen.
Sale ends 11/30.
No complaints, love the size, battery is sufficient to last from morning to dinner time even with frequent use, fast charging helps charge it quick since it has a smaller battery, lcd screen is very very good, no one will complain about performance at least not for 2-3 years from now, and the last one no one is talking about... the screen hardness!
Iphone 11 and iphone 12 have softer more durable screens but more scratch prone, my mini is getting a screen protector right out of the box but these older bodies had much more durable screens. Never had protectors on my 4,5,6,7,8 phones and the glass is still clean after many years.

Plus i have an ipad pro for the rest of what I want to do (work buys that one).
I've been waiting for some kind of a discount. Just anything. and I don't like getting locked in on contracts or payments.
