SORRY! MY BAD... just saw that Best Buy already has this for $398. Although, if you have a Discover CC, you can get an additional 5% Cash Back at Walmart this quarter.

Edit: Discover CC just added 5% Cash Back at Best Buy Nov. 25 - Dec. 31.

Go to RTINGS and compare this to the 55 inch 5 Series TCL. Yes you give up 3" and pay $50 more, but you get a MUCH better TV. My buddy had last years version of this TV and it lasted 5 months, couldn't be repaired. Yes antidotal, but these low to mid level Samsung's are really being cheapened over the last 3-4 years in performance and quality and that is a fact.

Consumer reports and other sites have TCL as the worst in reliability compared to hisense and samsung

Unfortunately not everyone can afford super nice TVs so that's why these are still great options

i have this and is well worth the $400.... quality is good if viewing from the front, viewing from the side isnt too great but i think thats cause i was spoiled with my panasonic plasma that had great viewing angles. For $400 it was well worth it without having to spend $1000+ for a OLED. either go budget cheap or go for the best (OLED)! Ill tell you this much, most people/guests arent going to notice any real difference from this TV to anything in the "mid" range (500-800).

Not very favorably, and it really shouldn't... the 58" Q6 currently costs $300 more... and $200 more for the 55". The Q6 is rated significantly better for movies, tv shows, and sports.
FROM RTINGS: Overall, the Q60/Q60T QLED is much better than the TU7000. The Q60T has a higher contrast ratio to deliver deeper blacks, it gets much brighter, and can display a wide color gamut with better color accuracy. However, the TU7000 has faster response time, and its superior gradient handling results in less banding.

I'm far from a tv expert so how would you all rate the picture quality on this unit vs the 55" Hisense at Target last week? I picked up the Hisense but may return it.
