Think it's because there is still $20 left on the $200 gift cards. Could be wrong. But that thing called tax probably wipes that out. Just my thought on how that math was done.

How does that add up to $70?

$180-$40 (Target GC) - $50 (Apple GC) = $90 not $70

Genuinely curious not hating how you got $70.

Thanks for posting!
May be, since you are left with $20 apple GC out of $200. So, $90-$20. Just a guess.

because you'll still have $20 leftover from the initial $200 gc... In fact if you had bought some giftcards last year, this deal is a moneymaker!

The post is fairly misleading and confusing. So to sum it up, we pay $379 + tax out of pocket and get $469 worth of goods. However, $290 will be gift cards hmm
It's all about the turnover Applause

Doe anyone know if there is an advantage to getting this if I have a Roku 4K streaming stick and have downloaded the Apple TV app on the Roku stick?

Wrong...you pay $200 out of pocket and get an Apple TV 4k, $50-$70 in Apple GC and $40 Target GC.

Can you apply the $50 Apple gift card to be used as iTunes credits in future?

You still have $20 left from 2 gift cards (total $200).

$200 - $180 = $20
$20 remaining balance + $40 Target GC + $50 Apple GC = $110

$180 Apple TV - $110 = $70

You only spend $200 out of pocket. You use the $200 Apple GC from target to buy the Apple TV.

This is a solid deal. Repped.
