When I got the scooter I download the app, wouldn't upgrade and pretty limited so I deleted it. I still got the email and wonder is it worth updating the dash just to get the update or have the people that couldn't update before will this update go through?

Having trouble downloading the latest Bluetooth 1.0.9 update

Is this why I'm having in issue when trying change the settings on ninebot flasher?

Only thing that comes up with the ninebot flasher app is

Int BMS #
Ext BMS #


As for BMS it gets to 99% and fails.

Sorry if im late to this but did everyone receive a charger in the package? hen my daughter opened on christmas morning, there was NO charger in the package.

too late to rebuy as they are out of stock too

Recheck all the cardboard boxes and break them apart, if I remember, it was in the triangular cardboard box. You can call the number in the back of the manual, pretty sure they'll send out a charger if it didn't include it. I'm doubting you'll find it in stock for $200 again, so I'd go that route.

Read the Wiki about BMS and aftermarket dashes. There's another program where you can also change the SN, I haven't used it though.

Check the box. Other people had the same problem and found it when instructed to look again. It's in a foldable cubby like area of the box.

I know that the BMS fails with aftermarket dashes besides OEM. I haven't found someone who got to 99% and failed. From what I remember lots of people were failing around 47%

Also since I'm using the app, I found that the scooter keeps locking and not powering off for a while.

When trying to Unlock it through the app, the scooter no longer connect's to the Bluetooth.

Even though it's powered on it's pretty much helpless until it turns off randomly. Once it turns off then I can connect to the BT again.

Did that happen with the stock dashboard? Maybe it's an issue with that aftermarket one.

The original dash that came with it was green and didn't connect to the BT

i am luck to get the BT enable one, which means it can connect to the ios segway app, but failed the update FW at 48%.
Any specific steps/guide for my case to regain the retail function? (I have read the wiki and lost in it). Thanks in advance.

No. Only once it connected to the app it would attempt to install the latest update and it would occasionally lock the scooter. Once it's locked you can't even turn off the scooter until it finally shuts off by itself.

If you have the original purple dash, try reinstalling that after you update the firmware using the aftermarket one. That bypassed the 99% issue for me
