has terrible reviews of getting hot and writing at 10-20mb/s.

I wish they would stop making flash drives the size of a finger nail, and make something somewhat beefier with some heat sinks on the controller/nand chips. Maybe then they would be worth a crap.
I have this and it gets hot and transfer speeds are slowwww. I would recommend against getting this.
At first glance this looks like a step stool.

I got this for 18.99 during Labor Day sale. Don't know why there are bad reviews (apart from faulty pieces), mine works perfectly fine and fast 👌🏻

These drives suck (slow) and doesn't work with iPad Pro.
compatibility on the apple iPaid with non-apple products is always risky.

It shouldn't be for a USB-C device, but sadly it is.

I've used this exact device with an iPad Pro 11 for a while. Had no problems.

The Samsung usb 3.1 drive posted earlier is definitely the better deal, it's cheaper and faster.

I have one of these and while they are kind of cool they do have problems. I have a printer that you can plug a USB drive into and I cannot use one of these with it, the end pushes in every time I try to insert it. Otherwise it works fine when I use the USB-C end into my MacBook Pro and it works, does get hot though.
