Appreciate the link to Gremlins, actually grabbed myself a copy, but I'm not watching Justice League until they release Snyder's Cut (hopefully next year?) to see it the way it was supposed to be.

What we got in the theatrical version was a chimera of Snyder's original shooting and Joss Whedon making substantial changes to Snyder's intended vision. Warner basically fired Snyder from Justice League after an early cut they saw, bringing in Joss Whedon to "fix" things.

The Snyder cut will look and feel much different than the Justice League we all saw.

Snyder quit because of a suicide in his family. Yes WB was unsatisfied and brought in other writers even before he quit but he was not fired.
