Keep your s9. I traded mine in and miss it. The s9 screen, fingerprint scanner, gorilla glass, wifi and call quality are all better My s20fe is plagued with bugs. Only stores 3 fingerprints vs 5, scanner is faster, when it works, but usually takes 3-4 tries. Typing and phone calls are both terrible. Lots of typos because of touchscreen issues. And calls get hung up, put on hold, and other random things as the screen doesn't deactivate well.
It's possible to save 2 (or maybe even more) fingerprints in each fingerprint slot - I've been successfully using it with 6 different fingers since I got this phone last week. (3 slots with 2 fingerprints in each slot)
When you go to scan your prints, just do one finger for half the time and a different finger for the other half - might be slightly less accurate per finger, but I haven't had issues with recognition, and I can use whichever of my fingers I want to. The phone doesn't complain about it at all 👍🏼

I have costco cards from previous such deals. Can that be used to pay off 229$ for this deal?

Right now in tmobile stores the regular price of the phone is $699 and tmobile is running a special to add a line or for new accounts to get $600 in credits spread over 24 months when you get the phone which is a wash as they charge $600 of the $699 price monthly. Thus you only have to pay $99 plus tax up front. It would be unbeleivable if you can get it upfront for only $99 plus tax and also get a $300 costco card on top of that.

That one's for new lines, and again over 24 months. This deal can be upgrade to existing line. Important because many here are grabbing the Free Line on Us3 from TMO this week, and would rather take free line for life + this deal vs. paying for a line to get $99 phone as free line and $99 phone don't stack.
Others will open a new line to get this Costco deal, and cancel line in three months. . .
I do think the TMO deal is good, just not right now for me!

The thing is, for me, I have the 55+ plan for 2 lines, $70 all in. The free line would force me to switch plans and pay much more. Free line ain't worth it.

Thanks! I think I will give it a try tomorrow. Hopefully there's no exception to this Black Friday sale.. if it's considered that.

I purchased this same phone at Costco for $681.96 out the door on Tuesday, with a $300 Costco gift card rebate.

I will try to get a price adjustment tomorrow for the extra $100. Would be a slick deal if I could get it for $281 with the extra $100 off.

I get it. Well, for me, I'm working on the free lines so I can pull my folks off their 55+ plan and put them on my free lines. This will be my fourth, enough for us. . .but one short of covering both of them. Gonna put one of them on this latest free line, and the other on MVNO until another free line shows up so we can ditch their 55+ account now. Then we're all set.

For my situation, and yours, it's important to have these decent upgrade deals, for different reasons. . .
