During the riots and looting this year I saw a Solo Bon fire being chucked out of an REI window on live tv.

The next day a reporter was on scene and the Solo pit was still on the side walk. I wonder if people didnt know what it was.

I was tempted to drive there to get it but didnt want to get in trouble.

FWIW - I was planning to buy the solo stove, but ended up buying the Breeo Series X. Here's why.. Had the solo stove in my cart a few weeks ago and saw a banner ad on the Solo site for 'Military Discount' and how they support those who serve. Looked at the fine print and they canceled the program this year just 8 days before Veterans Day. This was one day after the cancel.

I posted a comment on their Facebook ad asking if I could still get the discount. They deleted the comment. I asked again the next day thinking maybe I didn't post it correctly. The deleted that comment too. No response at all.

That is disappointing and kind of irked me. This plus the fact Solo is made in China made me look to Breeo. Breeo is made in the USA and I can cook steaks and burgers right on the edge of the pit. Check out the 'Breeo great grate' video too. Sold!

When I checked before seemed like ebay had a bunch of fake/3rd party ones that maybe work similar for much less? I wish you could mix and match, buy a titan and get a lite for free

I really want to like this but daaaaaaaaaamn that's a lot of $ for some simple rolled steel. Only good thing is I'm about 6 months away from needing it and honestly at the prices they charge for fire pits I could put in a pretty serious one for that amount of cash. Here's to hoping this company charges less in the future!
