Just upgraded my kids line to the iPhone SE (2020) for free with DPP.

$399.99 device payment purchase or full retail price purchase on Unlimited req'd. Less $399.99 promo credit applied over 24 mos.; promo credits ends if eligibility req's are no longer met;
Yea I am not sure what Verizon is doing.... if I try and upgrade any of my other lines now it shows it as just $10 a month instead of free --- I think I got a glitch while things where changing around - I initially thought it was part of a black friday deal but that link is dead like you say... we shall see what happens with my line that has a receipt that says $399 promo credit - lol.
Promotion says:
iPhone SE.
Get it on us.
Small iPhone, huge performance. It's the best 4.7-inch iPhone yet. 64GB only. With Unlimited.
It initially says $10/month when adding to cart but at checkout screen, it shows $16.66/month and there's a deduction of $-16.66 for the monthly credit.

Yep that was it --- they moved the location of the deal - this worked as an upgrade for me it appears - not sure it works for everyone or not -- I cannot get it to work on a 2nd line for me. Oh well hope it works out for the one line I needed it on.

Hmm I don't see that even in my cart. It still shows as $10 a month. It only shows that it's free if you add a new line. Did you upgrade a line or add a new one?

I did an upgrade - but I think it treated it as a new line now that I look at it. It didn't charge me the $20 "upgrade" fee - but shows the current number on the receipt that was upgraded. Another oddity was that I actually had one more payment from a blackfriday deal two years ago and it was supposed to charge me for that final payment during checkout - which it didn't do... also our billing cycle ends on the 28th might be playing into all of this too - like too many things for them to track.... I tried other combo's of iPhone's and memory combos nothing was for as much off as this one for whatever reason.

I couldn't replicate this deal neither. Verizon Customer Support on chat is useless and incompetent—they would insist that it needs to be a new line, but then when I linked them the promo page, they would "look into it" and after 10m of silence, my chat session would end and I would have to start over.
Tried this 3-4 times spending close to an hour on chat and got nowhere.
The only way I can replicate this deal is when I add a line or sign up as a new customer. Upgrades as of now appears to be $10 per line for the 64 GB, and the discount is surprisingly worst for larger storage variants ($159 off over 2 years for 64 GB, but only $69 off over 2 years for 128 & 256 GB).

It is a bummer that this doesn't work for everyone --- the popup on the info for the "deal" doesn't say new-line required like most of the other "deals" they have.
I do think my account has some glitch on this -- I am curious how it will turn out for me - lol. This action triggered 14 duplicate transaction PDF's in my Verizon documents folder - lol. And on the line I did the upgrade on, it doesn't show the new DPP yet and still shows the upgrade device link however if I try to upgrade it again it does tell me that an outstanding order for this line exists.

May I ask what Verizon plan you're on? Is it one of the newer "premium" unlimited plans (go, play, start, etc)?
I'm on a grandfathered "the new Verizon unlimited" plan which is $110 plus $20 per line for 22GB of unthrottled data each line.
The agents I've been able to get a hold of seem to say my plan doesn't qualify and that I would need to upgrade. But the fine print simply say "unlimited" vs "select unlimited".

I am on the "Starter Unlimited" or whatever they call it - the lowest price unlimited plan they offer now (for me with 5 lines it works out to $30 a line) - my kids were using up all the data we had on a shared data plan we had before and last year we switched to the newest starter unlimited they offered.
